"This masquerade" – Carpenters / ピアノ弾き語り

昔々、カーペンターズのベスト盤を聞いた時に、初めてこの曲を知りました。

原曲はレオン・ラッセルですが、私にとって、”This masquerade"と言えば、カーペンターズがカバーしたこの曲でした。

その他のカーペンターズの曲とは一線を画していて、なぜかとても魅せられて、何度も何度も聞いてしまった思い出の曲です。この曲はピアノがとにかく素敵なので、私にはとても敷居が高かったのですが、頑張ってピアノ弾き語りに挑戦してみました。

私の"This Masquerade"を気に入っていただけたら嬉しく思います。

A long time ago, when I heard the best compilation album of Carpenters, I knew this song for the first time. The original song is Leon Russell, but for me, "This masquerade" was the song that Carpenters covered.

It's a song that make a difference from other Carpenters' songs, and for some reason it's so fascinating that I heard it over and over again. This song had a very nice sound of the piano, so it was very difficult for me, but I tried my best.

Tanto tempo fa, quando ho ascoltato la migliore compilation di Carpenters, ho conosciuto questa canzone per la prima volta. La canzone originale è Leon Russell, ma per me, "This masquerade" è stata la canzone che Carpenters ha interpretato.

È una canzone che fa la differenza dalle altre canzoni di Carpenters, e per qualche ragione è così affascinante che l'ho ascoltata più e più volte. Questa canzone aveva un bel suono di pianoforte, quindi è stato molto difficile per me, ma ho fatto del mio meglio.
