"Shape of My Heart" – Sting / ピアノ弾き語り

映画『レオン』の主題歌で、スティングが歌っていた『Shape of My Heart』。

映画も素晴らしかったけれど、ラストを飾るこの曲が、胸にじ～んときて、ずっと歌ってみたいと思っていました。

でも、スティングは男性だから曲のキーがとても低く、女性が歌うと、メリハリが出ないし、ただモゴモゴとしか歌えない。しかもこの曲はアコースティックギターがメインで、私はギターが弾けないし、やっぱりピアノだけでは無理かな･･･と思っていました。

･･･ですが、どうしても歌ってみたくて、モゴモゴを避けるため、キーをかなり上げて、ピアノ弾き語りにチャレンジしてみました。原曲とは、随分、雰囲気は変わってしまいましたが、私の『Shape of My Heart』を気にいっていただけたら嬉しいです。

Moreover, this song is mainly for acoustic guitar, and I couldn't play the guitar, so I had thought it would be impossible for me to sing with only the piano.

But, I really wanted to sing it, so I raised the key considerably to make it easier for women to sing, and tried to sing with the piano. The atmosphere has changed a lot from the original song, but I hope you like my "Shape of My Heart".
